Initial analysis of this project compared functional and budget considerations of building on the present site vs. relocating elsewhere. With congregation review and input a phased expansion on the existing site was recommended. The Masterplan calls for a new 1/4-circle fan, sloped floor, sanctuary with adjacent senior adult and nursery spaces, a new fellowship lobby, parking, and multiple drop-off points. The Masterplan allows for future expansion of the sanctuary to a 1/2 circle, additional admin, classrooms and parking. The programmatic information gathered and diagrammatic information generated for the Masterplan served as effective communication tools for building support and enthusiasm among the congregation.
