The Architects Alliance designed this facility to house all departments for the state headquarters of Farm Credit Services. The building rests upon a formerly unbuildable site. The exterior facade is a combination of ground concrete masonry units and brick veneer. Extensive glass provides views in all directions including the limestone bluffs across the Missouri River. Interior glass partitions allow natural light and views even to work areas without adjacent windows.
Specialty spaces within the building include a large boardroom, a state-of-the-art training/seminar space, computer head-end room, catering kitchen, and convenient conference/work spaces. Interior circulation allows views to the exterior and future expansion. The lowest level can be isolated and used after hours for personnel training.
