A new commons area and men’s dormitory addition was designed to compliment the existing women’s dormitory on the Moberly campus. The addition included a shared study area, game area, student mailboxes, kitchen and sitting areas, and rooms for an additional 25 students.
This was achieved this by utilizing the commons area as a centralized hub between both the new and existing buildings. In addition, it provides a transition from the man-made environment of the college campus to the natural environment located on the west side of the building.
